LEADERBOARD
ADDS PRO TOUCH
TO CORPORATE
GOLF DAYS
A new mobile
Tournament Office facility with built in plasma leaderboard will
make corporate golf competitors feel as though they are walking
off the last green at The Open, according to its developer,
Leaderboard Logistics.
The facility
benefits everyone involved. Event organisers enjoy a
comfortable, air conditioned office with laptop computers,
multimedia notice board and radio communications with on-course
associates. Competitors like to see their name on the
leaderboard and enjoy photos and videos, all displayed on the
impressive 61” plasma screen, whilst event sponsors use the
facility as a cost effective advertising medium.
“Guests see
the tournament office as they arrive at the golf course and know
where to go without traipsing round unfamiliar clubhouses,” says
Leaderboard Logistics director, Andy Codling, a former
Tournament Controller for the PGA. “And when they see their name
on the leaderboard they really feel that they are taking part in
a big event.”
“Whatever the
organiser wants, we can provide,” says Andy Codling, “including
additional screen displays for the clubhouse, promotional tees,
balls and golf wear, customised scorecards, on-course pop-up
banners, hole-in-one prizes and even a video crew to record the
event for a commemorative DVD.”
